Traces of the old square west tower remain. There were formerly north and south aisles, the 14c arcades being still visible in the built-up walls of the nave.

Built in 1570 it is the largest barn in Norfolk and a grade I listed building.
Waxham Hall from west [5841] 1977-08-29
Originally of the Inghams and Calthorpes, it was sold to Sir Thomas Wodehouse about the time he bought the Bacton Abbey site in 1546. Said to have been built originally in 1114, and then to have been some 14 miles from the sea. It is now within yards of the coast.
