Mostly early 14c. The east window of five lights has curious tracery of four unfoiled circles left and four right, and a small trefoil in the apex.

Former ironworks of Thomas Smithdale and son, ironfounders and agricultural implement makers. In moulded bricks is the inscription "Panxworth Ironworks T S 1869"

Restored 1961-63 with a grant from Norfolk County Council. The mill stands in a commanding position on the coast road south-east of Mundesley.

The priory, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, the Blessed Virgin, and St Mary Magdalen, was founded during the reign of William the Conqueror by Robert de Vallibus or Vaux. Except for the late 14th century gatehouse, little more than foundations remain.

Potter Heigham:
Potter Heigham river Thurne bridge NE side [4892] 1965-04-17
Exact date of construction unknown, but in 1631 the county took it over and repaired it. The three arches are of brick and stone, the semicircular shape of the central arch suggesting a later reconstruction to allow small craft to pass through. The two smaller ones, in pointed gothic style indicate mediaeval origin.
