Lt Hautbois Meyton bridge and shelter [4916] 1965-07-31
The present bridge appears to have been standing in 15c. The western parapet terminates at each end with a curious alcove covered by a tiled roof, and formerly containing a seat, possibly for the use of toll-collectors or watchmen. In 1779 when the river Bure was made navigable to Aylsham, this bridge was found to be too low and narrow. Another more suitable bridge was therefore erected, and the course of the river diverted.

Potter Heigham river Thurne bridge NE side [4892] 1965-04-17
Exact date of construction unknown, but in 1631 the county took it over and repaired it. The three arches are of brick and stone, the semicircular shape of the central arch suggesting a later reconstruction to allow small craft to pass through. The two smaller ones, in pointed gothic style indicate mediaeval origin.
